Refund Policy
Returns eligibility
To be eligible for a return, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Items should be returned in their original condition, with the original packaging and accessories where possible. We may ask for proof of purchase, such as your order number. Faulty or damaged items are always covered, in line with your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
How to start a return
Email us at support@trailcubs.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We’ll reply with simple instructions and a return address. Please don’t send items back before contacting us, as we may not be able to process unannounced returns.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll email to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or card provider.
Return shipping
If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for the cost of return postage. If your item is faulty, damaged, or we sent the wrong product, we’ll cover the return shipping.
Damaged or faulty items
If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us within 30 days with your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
Exchanges
Would you prefer a different colour? We’re happy to exchange your microscope for another variant, subject to availability. Just let us know when you get in touch.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund you’re expecting, please check with your bank or card provider first, as processing times vary. If you’ve done this and still haven’t received it, contact us and we’ll help straight away.
